The folding lines are pre-scored just right, so the monkey's little limbs bend into place without any tearing. It took me about an hour to finish while watching TV, and the final 3D figure has such a playful, whimsical charm that I immediately ordered two more postcards to send to friends.
The perforated pieces pop out cleanly without tearing, which made assembly surprisingly quick for a paper toy. I’ve built a few of these postcard kits before and the monkey’s 3D finish looks genuinely adorable on my shelf.
This little monkey went from flat postcard to a chunky 3D friend in about twenty minutes. The paper is sturdy enough that it doesn't tear when making those tight folds on the tail. I've already got it perched on my desk and it makes me smile every time I look over.
