Lion DIY Paper Toy Postcard #031

The folding lines are pre-scored so the creases come out clean even with my clumsy hands. Took me about twenty minutes to assemble and now it sits on my desk next to my monitor. Genuinely relaxing little weekend project.

Cutting and folding this little monkey took me back to childhood afternoons with scissors and glue. The postcard format is clever too, so once it's built I can actually mail it flat to a friend instead of shelving another dust collector.

The 3D paper monkey actually pops out and holds its shape once you fold the tabs, which I wasn't expecting from a flat postcard. Took me about twenty minutes with a craft knife, and now it sits on my desk instead of getting mailed.
