Based on the Japanese Akabeko legend, this beautiful folklore inspired cow figure is the product of Teresa Chiba's genius toy designer/artist brain. Supplies are limited so, add this piece to your collection while you can :)!
The paintwork on this little guy is so clean, and the hand-painted red really pops on a shelf. As a folklore nerd I appreciate that it's a proper nod to the Akabeko legend instead of just a generic cow figure.
The hand-painted red detailing on this little cow is way sharper in person than any listing photo could show. It's sitting on my desk next to my monitor and the folklore backstory makes it feel less like a toy and more like a tiny piece of art. Glad I grabbed one before they sold out.
The paintwork on this little red cow is way more detailed than I expected for the size, right down to the tiny face. It's sitting on my desk next to my books and makes me smile every time I glance over. Grab one while they're still around.
