This figure is one of Teresa Chiba's adorable creations! Based on the Japanese tale of Akabeko, this cow figure is said to bring good luck and prevent illness. Add this awesome good luck charm to your collection AND you'll never get sick! of looking at it at least :)
Bought this as a good luck charm for my home office and the clear red finish looks even nicer in person than in the photos. The detailing on the little cow is really well done for the price.
The little Akabeko sits on my desk and the clear red catches the window light like a hard candy. It's heavier in the hand than I expected for a figure this size, so it doesn't tip over when the cat nudges it.
Didn't expect the clear red resin to catch light like this on my shelf, it almost glows next to my books. Bought it as a little illness charm for my desk and the Akabeko story makes it feel less like clutter and more like a tiny guardian.
