VAG 39 — Butcher

The blind box format makes the reveal half the fun, and the vinyl figure itself has that nice heft you expect from Medicom’s gacha line. Paint application is clean, and the sculpt’s got real personality up close. Glad I grabbed this one from the vending machine run.

Pulled the little capsule out of the machine and the paintwork on this butcher figure is way more detailed than I expected for gacha size. It's got that proper Medicom vinyl feel, solid and slightly squishy in the hand. Even got a spare part in the blind box which was a nice surprise.

The blind box gamble paid off — the sculpt has that proper Japanese gacha charm, and the vinyl quality feels sturdier than the usual capsule toys I've gotten before. It's small enough to sit on my shelf without taking over, but detailed enough that visitors keep asking about it.
