It's The Smartest Kid on Earth, Jimmy Corrigan. This vinyl doll has been lovingly created by the fine folks at Presspop and comes with a fully illustrated hanger card with wonderful artwork by Jimmy's creator, cartoonist Chris Ware.
The hanger card artwork alone was worth it, honestly — I've got it pinned above my desk. The figure itself has that perfect flat matte finish I was hoping for, and it stands up fine on its own without a base.
The detailed illustration on the hanger card is even better in person, and the vinyl figure captures Jimmy's awkward posture perfectly. Really pleased with how solid it feels.
This little guy arrived with his hanger card intact and the artwork on it is gorgeous, way better than I expected for packaging. Jimmy's sculpt captures the comic's sad-sack charm perfectly, and the vinyl feels solid for the price.
