The assembly was surprisingly intuitive for such a quirky little project — the tabs lined up perfectly and I had the whole frog built in about 20 minutes. Now it sits on my desk, and every time I flip the switch, that tiny fan whirring inside its paper body makes me grin.
The fan actually spins when you hold it up to a breeze, which made me grin like a kid. Assembly was fiddly but satisfying, and the frog’s face has way more personality than the photos suggest.
Cutting out all the tiny pieces took me a patient evening, but the frog’s face is so charming once it’s assembled that I didn’t mind the fiddly bits. The paper stock feels sturdy enough that I’ve already bent the fan blades a few times without tearing.
