The paper stock has this slight matte texture that makes the ink colors sit differently depending on the light in the room. I hung it in my hallway where it catches the afternoon sun, and the fact that it was commissioned for an exhibit that never happened makes it feel like a small piece of art his

Didn't expect a gig poster to work as a framed art piece, but the whole concept — one artist making a print for another artist's exhibit that never actually advertised anything — is what sold me. Hung it above my desk and the layout still reads clean from across the room.

The paper stock has this matte finish that makes the reds look almost screen-printed by hand. I keep finding new details in the type every time I walk past it in the hallway.
