The little purple guy arrived today and that silly face is even better in person—it's perfectly creepy and cute at the same time. I love how solid the vinyl feels, and he stands up straight on my shelf without any wobble.
Bought it as a desk buddy and the purple resin has a nice weight to it, not hollow-cheap feeling. Only gripe is the paint on the eyes looks a little uneven up close, but from arm's length it's exactly the goofy little monster I wanted.
The silly little face on this purple thing is exactly as weird and charming in person as it looks in the photos. Only reason it's not five stars is that it's lighter than I expected, so it tips over pretty easily on a shelf. Still sitting on my desk though.
